It’s time for PAPAGP’S Second Recital and Gala!


Pittsburgh, October 21, 20133 – Philippine-American Performing Arts of Greater Pittsburgh (PAPAGP) will present its second annual recital and gala at the Upper St. Clair Theater on Saturday, November 16, at4:00 p.m.

PAPAGP is a non-profit that was founded in 2012  top reserve and promote Filipino culture through dance and music.

Under the theme “Kasalan” (Filipino for weddings), the PAPAGP dance troupe will present 16 traditional folk dances that portray festivities surrounding courtship and weddings. The performance will end with a pageant of wedding entourages displaying heirloom and modern Filipino attire. Post-recital festivities include a dance party, Filipino food, and a taste of the centerpiece wedding cake.

GENERAL ADMISSION $10.00 per ticket (open seating).Children age 5 and below are free.

Light fare and a bake sale will be available.
